Jefferson County is strategically centered in North Florida.  Known as the Keystone County, it stretches from Georgia to the Gulf Coast.  Land is available and competitively priced and the low cost of doing business in our community is a major advantage.

Jefferson County is a rural community; however, it is located in close proximity to strategic business resources.  There are several small communities located throughout the county.  The City of Monticello is the largest and serves as the county seat.  It is the only incorporated municipality in the County.

Historical, cultural and natural resources are plentiful here and the Jefferson County community is a culmination of professionals, entrepreneurs, small business owners and progressive farmers who value the high quality of life and the rural advantage that makes this a special place.

Bringing my business to Monticello was a good decision.  The rural setting of the community makes coming to work a pleasure.  Cooperation of local officials has been key to our success and the work ethic here has enabled me to assemble a first rate staff.
